Not sure what to say?

Nelson embodied fun and decency; he could play the clown, but always had his moral compass pointed north. It was a pleasure to know him.

To Sandy and the kids, Shirley, Arthur and Vic. I'm sorry for your loss. Nellie was one of a kind. The truest of All-Stars. I was just looking at the Kindergarten class picture with Nellie, Skee and me in the back row. It seems like yesterday. You could fill a library with the tributes to Nellie. He'll be missed.

To all the Lambert family; My prayers go out to you in this time of sorrow. I am a grad of 74 still in Marlboro, however was away when Nelson saw his last days here on Earth. I missed the services. I feel bad for that, but please accept my condolences. I was shy in HS (He was not)So I knew Nelson more from re-unions,and encounters in town. Great guy, always smiling.

Nelson made us laugh so often in life I can certainly forgive him this once for making me cry. Sandy, Zach and Rachelle, you know how to reach us if there is anything you need.

Much love, Rich, Karen, Dan and Spencer Wellen
