Nelson Weir MORROW

As summer turns into fall, I always remember Nelson and Bob for their fall funraiser event for the Hoffman Institute at Ruth Eckerd Hall, approprately named Harvesting for Scholarships.

Years pass but memories endure.

Today is Rosh Hashana...the Jewish New Year...and though Nelson was not Jewish...every year he sent us a card or sent a fruit basket personifying his heart, Soul, empathy, and thoughtfulness. Nelson was a person who would sit to laugh or cry with you on any subject; he wore his emotions on his sleeve. He has left behind a legacy of goodness that we should all strive toward. His Light and Love shines on in our memories. We miss you, Nelson. Lovingly, Leslie and Robert Freedman

I love you Nelson and Bob I think of you fondly and will miss you always

Nelson was such a dear person, and I'm SO thankful to have been able to see him at The Florida Orchestra concert at REH last spring - it had been years! He and Bob were two of the most interesting people I've had the pleasure of knowing. Bless you both - I'll miss you.

Nelson was one of the finest gentlemen I have had the honor to know. As an administrator, I was always welcome to slip into his classroom and just watch, listen and relax. I sincerely enjoyed talking and learning from him.

Nelson and Bob were role models for me in highlighting the importance of the performing arts on our children and the entire Tampa Bay community. In this support they gave their time, talent and their treasures. We all are a bit better for their efforts. God speed Nelson.

Nelson and Bob, two of my dearest friends and most loyal customers. Fondest memories of special times together, there should have been more. Always and forever in my mind and heart. You are both missed.

There was not anyone who met Nels who did not love him. He had the sweetest Soul and was full of empathy for all. His emotions ruled his Life...he was open and vulnerable, bright, caring, and full of good. I, and all that knew him, will carry him in our hearts forever. I know there is a heaven when I think of him because I know that Bob awaits him there.
