We were so blessed to have him in our town. My mother Erma Miller was won of the organizers of the Marietta Orchestra which today is the Georgia Symphony and when Nelson came to Marietta he wanted to do the Messiah and bring the choirs from other churches together with Roswell Street and have the Orchestra and choirs combine and because Betty Bennett had the education to direct both the choirs and the orchestra she could direct both and the front of the church was full with instruments' and...

I was privileged to work with Dr. Price when he chaired the Personnel Committee of the Baptist Home Mission Board. During that time, I was the Director of Human Resources for the HMB and was the staff liaison to the Personnel Committee. Dr. Price and I developed a very good working relationship. I found him to be a man of great integrity, kindness and loyalty. I'm grateful that God made our paths cross.
