Nelson was one of dad´s best Friends. I remember playing doubles in tennis with Nelson and Kay. He´ll be missed. Great man!

My Uncle Nealson is full of laughter and joy and greatest memories together He loves me and I love him and having bestest greatest Relationship as Niece and uncle I ever had so long when I grown up with and i hope he have nephew in law is Ryan McCartan and carried my Uncle Nealson Grandnephew and Grandniece to even Wyatt Isabella Kutcher and Dimitri Portwood Kutcher to and they are like pals and Buddies from 12 and 8 years and wyatt and dimitri loved my Uncle Nealson so much and also myself...

A fantastic friend for over 60 years. In 1965 he helped me load a U-Hail truck to move us to League City, Texas from Waco. On the way, we ran over a possum in the road. When w returned the truck, the dead possum was still hanging out at the bottom of the truck. Also, when we lived in Waco, he called one day with a muffled voice and said he wanted to rent our garage for a living space.

In our early marriage days Nelson helped me move our furniture to League City, TX where I would teach biology. On the way we ran over a large possum and the body was stuck under the truck all the way there and back. After returning the rented truck to Waco, the dead possum was still hanging out at the bottom of the truck. Nelson was always joking.
