Nelson G. Turner

It is so hard to be of few words when speaking of a person of this stature. I will spend the rest of my life living what he taught me. I will always love you sir! I don't feel I have lost you. You are apart of me and I can feel you. May your rest be peaceful and calm. You have earned it. I hope I am able to touch as many people as you have in my lifetime.

Bishop turner was an amazing pastor, and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to have him as my pastor. My heart cries out for him, but he is in a better place, and I am happy to see that he is no longer suffering. I love you bishop, you will never be forgotten and there will never be another you.

To the family and church family of Bishop G. Turner I send my condolences. I didn't know Bishop Turner well but from a few times that we met but, he was my mom's (Wanda Brown now Wanda Austin) foster dad. He & Mother Turner took her in when she was younger. I have heard countless wonderful stories of him and Mother turner and their undying faith, and wisdom in God. My mom would describe Bishop as a awesome,great man, leader and father. I thank and PRAISE GOD that I was allowed to know a wonderful strong intelligent GOD FEARING MAN! Because of his preaching I have a more peaceful fulfilling life. Watching him praise the Lord when He felt like it & when he didn't will always stay with me & be my encouragement when times get hard. Truely a gift from the Lord. God bless I LOVE YOU BISHOP! We will meet again!!!

May God continue to keep you in perfect peace during the time of your loss. Bishop N. G. Turner was a extraordinary man with extraordinary ways. My life has been made better just by hearing the word of God that he preached. He has blessed my family and I with the word of GOD! As a result all three childrenthat are living received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Rest in peace my dear pastor, friend, and man of God!
