Not sure what to say?

Ms. Johnston is one of the original pioneers of school teachers who actually cared about her students. She was loving yet tough. She would say.... The only way to make it....is yall gotta listen and follow instructions! Knuckle heads! Henry Alexander Hunt Elementary School. Gone from our presence but never forgotten.

So sorry to hear of Mrs Johnston's passing. She was my 4th grade teacher at Hunt Elementary school. A great teacher who truly cared and pushed us to excel. My condolences to her family

I remember Ms. Johnston from Elementary School.....she was a sweet lady. Condolences to the family and God bless.

So sorry to hear that we have lost another member of Holsey. She was a great part. her laughter was infectious and she always so warm and loving towards my mom, my daughter and myself. You will truly be missed.
God Bless You and Your Family!

Ms.Johnston will truly be missed by all her students at Hunt Elementary School she was a iconic teacher who did not play our children need her now.

To Peggy & Artis: I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I will keep you both in my prayers and ask for God's comfort and strength.

One of the best teachers I ever had! Pushed and motivated me to be the best I could be! I didn't understand then but I understood it by and by. RIP Mrs. Johnston and my deepest sympathy to Artis and Peggy and family. May God strengthen and keep you is my prayer.

Mrs. Johnston was a teacher from the old school she loved her students, but didn't take any mess. She was my 4th grade teacher at Hunt. Because of your mother's calling the world is a better place. Her desire was to make each one of her students excel. Her strong discipline (the belt) was a great encourager. She will be missed but never forgotten.

GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU BE NOT DISMAY.WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY.
