Neva Herrington

she was a beautiful person, who inspired many young writers in so many of her classes...i would not be the writer i am today without her encouragement and influence....she introduced me to so many outstanding poets. i am grateful to have known her for so many years....having taken one of her night classes in the early 1980's on a whim. i can still hear her voice and see the joy in her eyes when she stood before the class and taught poetry.
