My sincere condolences to Nevin's family. I worked with Nevin in the House Republican Caucus and I remember fondly our conversations whenever he would stop in our office. It was always evident how much he adored his sons.

I worked with Nevin for the PA House Republican Research Staff. When I first met Nevin, around 1979, we butted heads. Soon thereafter, we teamed up to try to stop a bill that was being railroaded through the State Legislature. We were not successful, but it began a friendship that lasted many years. Nevin worked and played hard. He was sharp as a tack and fun. I clearly remember dancing to the Grease Band with him at the VIP after work in the 80s. RIP, Nevin.

God bless and comfort the family of Nevin, it's interesting how Nevin and I became the best of friends as a result of our disagreements. We debated everything while employed by the Commonwealth of PA, Department of Labor and Industry, but debates pushed us to do our jobs better. Out of our debates came the current PA. CareerLink and many other policies and procedures. Our conversations were never taken personally, but improved our relationship. Hiller, I could always go to the golf course...

So sorry to hear of Nevins death. Always enjoyed talking to Nevin when he worked at the capitol. He was a caring person and stood up for his beliefs. Sending prayers to his loved ones.

Nevin Mindlin was a wonderful advocate for the people of Harrisburg. My condolences to Nevin's family and friends.
