As a new resident of Ventura County, with connections to Ray's family in Lexington, Kentucky it has been a pleasure to spend time with this man in his final year. I am privileged to have been touched by his life. Ray Phelps made me laugh.

I still feel Ray here and cannot comprehend he is gone. I am happy for him that he is with Art and all his questions will be answered. Talk about a long drive... or is it short?
He is one who always made me smile when I saw him. Even when his memory was fading, he still had stories to tell. I will miss the stories.
