Not sure what to say?

Mr. Davenport was a wonderful English teacher. He opened my door to creativity and confidence in writing and expression. I remember my junior year of English IB was so full of creativity and that continued through college and currently in my engineering profession. Mr. Davenport was a big part of my educational development and I wish I had let him know when I realized how lucky I was to have him as a teacher! I will think of him often, smile when I am writing technical...

Dear Sarah and Family.
I considered Stan and true friend. I will remember him for his smile, his wisdom his laughter and the times we spent together talking about the ills of the world. When I lived on Madrone, he would always drive by, honk, wave and smile no matter if I was outside or in.
As you know, we taught the same students at Franklin for 5 years. He with English and me with Biology. Teaching the IB kids together was one of the best times we shared. I will also miss that....

I am saddened to hear the news of Mr. Davenport's passing. As a former student of his from Franklin High School, I will always remember and be thankful for his dedication to his students and their success.

To the Davenport family,

Mr. Davenport was a wonderful teacher, whose enthusiasm for his subject and passion for imparting his knowledge were a huge part of my high school experience.

My sincerest condolences.

Dear Sara,
It was such a pleasure to work with Stan for over 20 years. He was an outstanding teacher that truly made a difference in the lives of his students and colleagues. I'm sorry I'll be out of town, and will miss the memorial. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He will be missed by many. May God continue to bless and comfort you. We have the promise of a better life to come.

Dear Sara,
Raoul and I send you, Carla and Mark our sincere thoughts and prayers. Stan was a wonderful friend and so very proud of you and the children. We know he had a full life of love and many, many, joyus occassions with his immediate and extended family. We send you our love and know Stan will always be in ALL of our hearts.

Dear Sara ~ I think of you (and Stan, of course) nearly every day now. I remember the first time Robby & I met him. You two were so in love and proud of each other ~ you of his grilling skills and he of your clever cheese-inside-the-hamburger-patty. You were blessed with many years of that mutual love and you will be blessed with many years of Stan's love shining down on you and your family. I send you love, too ~ Jeanne
