I was sorry to read about the passing of your father. Our mother (Marilyn Meister Hanson) always spoke so fondly of your family and especially your mother.I know that the bond of family will be a special comfort to you all at this time. May the fond memories of your father bring you peace and comfort in the years to come.

I read in the Sacramento Bee about Newt's passing. I will always remember the "ranch" with the bar for the moms and dads and the dorm for the kids. I have wonderful memories of the times our families played together. I wish you all the best and know my thoughts are with you. It's hard losing our parents.

Newton was a true gentleman and a fine example to all of us in business. The Big Four restaurant in the Huntington is a tribute to Newton's good taste = we've enjoyed it for nearly 30 years. Best wishes to the family at this time.
