Not sure what to say?

The love of my life, Max Cisne, shared many wonderful memories of boyhood adventures with Newt. So sad they have both left this planet which is better for the many contributions made by them both. Mary Ann Cisne (Richmond, Virginia)

Newt was great, I met him for the first time as my office Land Lord. Always positive and friendly. Later through politics. His community will certainly miss him. He raised a very nice son too!

I am so sorry to hear of Newt´s passing! I first met Newt around 1994. He became one of my best clients and a friend. I owe a lot to him for his support and confidence in me. I will miss him terribly. My heart and prayers to his family and the CU community for their loss. Rest in peace, Newt.

Newt was a Prince of a man! My thoughts are with you all now and in the difficult weeks ahead. I hope you feel surrounded by love.

The Dodds Family has been friends with my family since Julia and Pick played golf and drank many a bourbon with my grandmother Edith Keck. Rest in peace Newt.

Newt has had many a great influence upon the Champaign area community. I am honored to have known and worked for Newt over the past few decades. You will be very missed, but still remembered "Pardner!"

Newt changed the landscape of Champaign in many ways. From his philanthropy to his tireless efforts to make Champaign a better place to live through his commitment to it's parks and arts. There are many of us small business owners in the construction trades that owe a debt for his influence and mentorship which helped spawn several successful Champaign contractors. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Newt lived a long and robust life. Champaign was lucky to be the setting for such a life!
