Nicholas Arthur Alati, 59, of Bedford, NH, died July 8, 2022, after a courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
Born in Hicksville, Long Island, NY on December 12, 1962, he was the son of Nicholas V. and Mary “Terry” (Donohue) Alati.
Nick graduated from Londonderry High School, Class of 1981. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of New Haven, where he excelled in Division I Lacrosse.
He was an insurance adjuster for several local insurance companies.
Nick had a gift and passion for coaching youth lacrosse. He was the former coach at Manchester High School West. Later, he volunteered his time and talents coaching Bedford Youth Lacrosse.
Nick was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was loved and adored by all. He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing this joyous man.
Family members include a daughter, Brieanna Archambault and her husband, Kevin, and their daughter, Jane, of Manchester; a daughter, Grace Alati of Manchester; two sons, Nicholas “Chip” Alati and Kiernan Alati; eight siblings, Mary, Margaret, Thomas, Theresa "Tecie”, Patricia “Tricia”, Jean "Jeannie", Regina, and Brian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: Calling hours are Monday, July 18, 2022, from 4 to 7 PM at Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022, with a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 AM at Saint Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford, NH.

My deepest sympathies to the Alati Family. Nick introduced me to the game of lacrosse 45 years ago, which shaped much of my life and my four daughters since. He had such a positive impact on so many. He was a great friend to my late brother, Joe and I have many fond memories and laughs being in Nick's presence.

Very sad news. My condolences and prayers go out to Tommy, Brian, Regina, Tricia, Tecie, Brie, Grace, Chip and Kiernan and the rest of the family. Nick was one of the first persons I met when I moved to Bedford in 1996. In a prime example of how the world has gotten smaller, his older brother Tommy Alati and I played lacrosse together at Kutztown State in Pennsylvania in the early 80's yet we were from completely different worlds.
