Nicholas M. Albano, age 83, of Brick, NJ died on February 14, 2022 at Complete Care at Laurelton in Brick. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ and lived in Roselle before moving to Brick 21 years ago. Nicholas worked for the County of Union before retiring after 44 years of service. He was a Trustee for Laurelton Gardens Senior Community for 20 years.


Nicholas was predeceased by his parents Nicholas Albano, Sr. and Ethel Albano, his beloved wife Miriam of 50 years, Ethel Provenzano, granddaughter April Wyckoff and son-in-law Hank Schenesky.


Nicholas is survived by his children: Diane Schenesky of Tallahassee, FL, John and Nancy Connors of Whiting, NJ, Doreen Mendez of Manhattan, NY, Deborah Rastelli of Brick, NJ, Keith Connors of Maine, and James and Linda Connors of Lanoka Harbor, NJ, as well as 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and his nephew Gary Provenzano of Englewood, FL.


A viewing for Nicholas will be held at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 1-4pm with a 3:30pm service. Cremation will be private.


Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society and/or The Alzheimer’s Association.
