Nicholas P. Amato, age 63, passed away unexpectedly, July 31, 2021 at his lake home.
Devoted son of his late mother Adeline, and his late father Alphonso; beloved husband
of Laura, nee Falk, Amato, for 42 years of marriage; loving father of Nicholas Amato,
Jennifer Amato, and Jonathan (Lindsay) Amato; adored grandfather of Ava & Giovanni;
dearest brother of Lucille, and the late "Sonny", Patricia, and Phyllis.
Visitation Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 3 - 8 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home,P.C.
Funeral services will be held privately.

My heartfelt sympathy to Laurie and the entire Amato family. The group of friends that I will always remember, are growing up in heaven and I miss all of you, both the people that have passed as well as those that are still here missing them. I will always remember Nick's warm welcoming smile - always glad to see us. He was such a wonderful friend, husband and father, we are all blessed to have had him in our lives. I started working under Nick back in 1999. Over the length of my time at Seneca I thought of Nick as a friend and coworker. Even after Nick no longer was over-seeing the Toledo plants, Nick and I talked. It always started with work, then went onto our families. I spoke to him a week ago... I feel bad for his family, it is way to young to loose someone so important in so many lives. Rest easy Nick.

Laurie, Nick Jr., Jen & Jon, Ava & Gio, When I heard my baby brother passed a piece of my heart went with him. He was such a great kid and a great man. Nick always had a heart of gold and never had a bad word to say about anybody. I will miss his smile that lit up a room. Heaven has gained an angel.
