Nick, I've been thinking of you so often in the last couple of weeks since my good friend Dawn Jacobs let me know of your passing. I came to work for Popeye's in the late 80's and early ninety's. You were always so kind to me and my daughter Jamie, she worked for you also.I told Dawn Lake Geneva will never be the same.I returned to Popeye's so many times as I was growing and opening my new business's and you always sat with me and gave me such great advice. You were a mentor to me and you...

Nick Anagnos is a prince of man that I will never forget. He always made people feel special, ran a great restaurant and saloon, and always spoke his mind. There was never a doubt about what Nick was thinking. He was inspiration to many people and helped a great many of us get started in life with jobs at Popeye's and Papouli's. I had a great time working for him (most of the time, ha ha) and will cherish the wonderful times and hearty laughs I shared with Nick.

I worked at Popeye's during my college years, 1977-1981. It was a wonderful job and a life experience. Many thanks to Nick and and the whole Anagnos family for that. My deepest sympathies to you all at this time.

Dear Ronnie and family, My heart and prayers are with you all. Nick's kindness, generosity and laughter will never be forgotten by anyone who knew him.
