Nick- I will always remember the summer I met you. I was 12 years old and just moved back to Cudahy, you were one of the first friends I made. You were my neighbor, classmate, and a great friend. In the Winter time your dad pulled us on the ATVs in a sled, do you remember? We had a lot in common, you with twin sisters... and me with twin brothers. More recently it was great seeing you more. I remember the first time we met. You were the first kid to ever talk to me in Cudahy. And the time that my brother flipped your ATV on himself. Or in 4th grade when you cracked your head open on the bleachers, and then I rolled out of my bed that night and did the same thing on my dresser. We had the same ambulance workers respond. I've know you for so long. I will really miss you man. Until we meet again.

We say that the hour of death cannot be forecast, but when we say this we imagine that hour as placed in an obscure and distant future. It never occurs to us that it has any connection with the day already begun or that death could arrive this same afternoon, this afternoon which is so certain and which has every hour filled in advance.

Nick I am so sorry your time was so short. I'll always remember hanging out and relaxing with you, or being in Mrs. Mendola's seventh grade classes together.
