I am so very sorry for the loss of Nick after reading all these beautiful tributes to him I imagined seeing him in my mind with his friends and family even though I never met him
Forever young never forgotten
Til you are reuionited

Dear Hayden, Joanna and family: devastated to hear of your awful loss. Our thoughts are with you and of course, if there's anything I can do -- I'm at your service.
Sincerely,
Jim McCandlish and family

I just wanted the Cameron family to know that you are in my thoughts. I met Nick a short time ago in the naval reserves over at Mac Dill Air Force Base. We were the most junior people there so it was easy for us to forge a friendship. In the short time that I knew Nick I could tell that he was a person that you could depend on and a great friend. I will miss having Nick along for our drill weekends.

Dear Hayden and family,
I never met your son, but, Hayden, I remember when we worked together at the Enquirer. We moved on to different lives and to form our respective families. How saddened I was to hear from Kerry & Maria that you have lost your beloved son. My deepest sympathy is extended to you and your family. I learned of this terrible news while visiting Elaine Sutherland Durrant in England. She has asked me to express her deepest regrets and to send you her sympathies. God...

I have to say my reaction is very similar to Brian Qualters. Although I have not been in touch with Nick for many years I think I will always consider him a great friend. Oddly enough on a recent trip to Tucson for work I mentioned to a fellow passenger about a turbulant plane ride that Nick and I took between Atlanta and Birmingham going to US Space Camp in 1994. We have many memories together from our first jobs at Winn Dixie on Dixie Hwy in Lantana to football at Lake Worth and being...

Dear Cameron family~
My mother (Maria Pope) called me in Chicago (where I attend college), to tell me what happened to Nicholas. My memories from Florida I keep very close to my heart, and remember always hearing about your family. At one time or another I am sure I have met your family through the Enquirer, and I am very sorry for your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers...

Nick and I have spent almost everyday together the past 6 months. The days we were not together we would talk forever on the phone. He had a way about him that made you feel like you were the most important thing at that point in time. He was always there for me when I needed someone to talk to and we would share things that no one else knew about. It was always Bear, Nick, and I together cooking dinner or going places and we always had the most fun. I will always love and remember Nick for...

Dear Hayden, Joanna, Natasha & Andrew, We feel heartbroken, and so terribly sad. Please know that Kerry and I will ALWAYS be there for you - with strengh and love... Maria Pope and family

Our deepest sympathy to your family. Nick was a wonderful young man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
