Nick was equal parts friend and mentor. He was always ready, willing and able to envision a new project, organization or legislative effort. His kindness was limitless. He always noted the potential in people-and he would challenge you to be more and do more. Thank you, kind sir. Peace be with you and your family for whom your love knows no bounds.

Dear Barbara and Matt,
Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts. I'll miss seeing Mr. Carbone around town and at First & Last. I will never forget how he made me feel like a part of your family while at your mom's funeral. He was an extraordinary gentleman.
Sincerely,
