I grew up with that handsome young ladies man in Brooklyn. We played on the same junior high school softball team and use to lose a couple of bucks at the OTB on Kings Highway. He came from such a classy family and his baby brother was a sweetheart as well. Nick was instrumental in my joining federal law enforcement, and even though we lost touch with each other, I never forgot his compassion, kind and gentle nature and sense of humor. Dear Laurie, we were so surprised to learn about Nick being ill and subsequently passing away.He was such a terrific guy! We will always remember all the fun and laughter we had when you guys came down for a visit when we moved to FL. We will keep him and you in our prayers.
