CLARK, Nicholas W. (Hays) - Of Clio, age 72, died Monday, January 23, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.



 



A graveside service will be held 2pm Monday, January 30, 2017 at Crestwood Cemetery, 2020 East Hill Road, Grand Blanc.



 



In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for assistance with funeral expenses.



 



Nick was born in Kittanning, PA on January 20, 1945, the son of Earl and Gertrude Mae (Hays) Clark. He was the eldest of nine children. Nick served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He drove semi-truck for many years. Nick was also a Genesee County Deputy Sheriff. He resided in Butler, PA, Hartland, and the Mt. Morris area. Nick was a talented mechanic, carpenter, gardener and an avid hunter. Country music held a special place in his heart. He was a drummer in many country bands.



 



Surviving are wife, Sherrie (Daniels);



 



Uncle John Regis Hays;



 



Sons, Philip (Penny) Clark, David (Jeana) Clark, Jeff (Shanon) Clark;



 



Stepson, Jerry (Jodie) Kirsch, and two daughters;



 



Siblings, Charles (Paula) Clark, Cheryl Dennis, Patty (Curtiss Jr.) Sears;



 



Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.



 



He will be greatly missed by cherished niece, Laura (Sears) Mills.



 



He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Baby Girl Clark and Barbara Dudonis.

You were the best thing that could of ever happened to my sister and she loved you a lot. You are now wrapped in the arms of God free from anymore pain. You are deeply missed. Thank you for being there for all of my biggest moments in my life, especially my wedding. I will never forget our peanut butter pickle sandwiches after doing hard work out in the yard. Love you so much.
