Not sure what to say?

Lots of love to the family during this hard time. We will miss you.

In loving memory of a wonderful person on the 8 year anniversary of his untimely death. We will love you and miss you always.

On behalf of all of us at Skidmore, I extend our deepest sympathy to Nicholas' family and friends. The entire college community is grieving the loss of this exceptional young man. He touched so many lives--as a student, tutor, employee, and an alumnus. His gentleness, compassion, humor, and sparkling intelligence will be greatly missed by so many of his friends and classmates. Please let us know if there is anything at all we can do for the family at this time.

Sincerely, Mary...

To see others bear their cross and not be able to take it from them is much harder than carrying our own, but we shall have to learn the lesson...Edith Stein
All is inadequate in the face of your pain and grief, dear ones. Holding you in prayer.

To The Cleves Family,

My heartfelt sympathy for the loss of Nick this past week. I, along with my fellow comrades at Hudson River Park are all devastated. We realize Nick was a "regular" on the bike path and like myself he loved biking as a way to get around the city. I wish that day never happened.

We are so deeply sorry for your loss.

"And, when he shall die,
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine,
That all the world will be in love with night"

-Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet

To the Cleves Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
