Not sure what to say?

My sincerest condolences to all of Nick's family. I was on the search committee when Pine Cobble School was looking for a new Headmaster. When Nick's letter came across my desk, I knew instantly that he was what Pine Cobble needed at that time. Nick was a wonderful person, teacher, administrator, friend and the school benefitted from his leadership.

My sincerest condolences to Nick's family and friends.

I am grateful to Nick who performed many roles at The Kildonan School, as a tutor and English teacher. I remember he taught with dignity and inspired students to just do the best that we could do!

He was a captivating teacher in covering stories from the likes of Huckleberry Finn, The Scarlet Letter, Macbeth, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Great Gatsby, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Of Mice and Men.

I worked with Nick for seven years as one of his Pine Cobble School teachers and as his pastor at our local church. Nick had a well disciplined mind, a quick wit, an easy manner and a confident professional style. I appreciated his wisdom as an educator and his eagerness to explore larger matters of faith. We shared many common values, and so had an easy friendship on top of our professional association, for which I will always be grateful. My love to Will, Lily and Liz.

I recall Nick as one of the most dedicated, knowledgeable and compassionate teachers I have ever known. I work with him as an English Teacher- Tutor at Kildonan during my first year of teaching, and his guidance, leadership and expertise with helping new teachers were priceless.
May his gentleness, kindness, wisdom and high caliber of excellence live on in his students as well as the countless lives he touched over the years.....

Mr. Edgerton was a gental, generous, and a great kind man. He was like a father figure to me back at Kildonan School. I spent most of my time with him. I even took care of his dog rose. He will be dearly missed but the memories with him will remain in our hearts.

My condolences to his family, may god give you the strength in this difficult time.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

I am shocked and so completely sorry for your loss. Nick was a great guy and fills many happy memories of Ice Pond Lane in Clarksburg.

He was a wonderful educator. He always had a smile on his face. He was so beloved by students, including myself, and my husband. We are so deeply sorry to hear of his passing .
