Hi Catherine - I don't think we have ever had the chance to meet, I was Nicholas's classmate at Harvard and was active in PBHA with him. Nicholas stood out even at a place like Harvard and had such an elegant and witty aura about him. I look back on our conversations and friendly banter with great fondness. Nick and I were colleagues at Goldman Sachs in the early 2000s, and although we haven't kept in touch I am very saddened to hear of his passing - but also happy to read about his loving family and fulfilling career. As a fellow Christian I will say a prayer. Farewell Nick.

Nicholas and I were classmates at Johns Hopkins, the only two Hebrew scholars in our year, so we spent many hours sitting in seminar rooms together puzzling out translations. He was so kind and helpful and I was glad to have him as a friend through that challenging year. Catherine, we´ve never met but I was so happy to see the two of you building a life and family together in your FB posts, and my heart goes out to you and your daughters.
