MY BUDDY/SIDE KICK. NOONE COULD REPLACE. IM PROUD TO SAY I KNEW MARTY AND BECAME HIS 9TH SON....LOL.SATURDAY NIGHT'S BY FAR WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. AND BETWEEN ME AND HIM AND HE KNOWS THIS-ONE TIME AT BAND CAMP...AND WALTER WENCHEL. I LOVE HIM AND ALREADY MISS HIM DEARLY. IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME-BUT WE HAVE HIS MEMORIES TO CHERISH AND THE WOO-HOO'S...AND ALL THE STORIES.AND OF COURSE WE HAVE YOU NANCY TO SHARE THEM WITH. WE LOVE YOU LIKE FAMILY...

To the Friel Family: Marty was the best...always learned from him...shared his wisdom and guidance, wit & humor with all...certainly made the world a better place....will always be missed & remembered fondly. A fine police officer....a finer man has not graced this Earth. My deepest sympathy to each of you.
