Not sure what to say?

I always think of Nick at this time of year as the 33rd anniversary of my husband's death rolls around. Nick worked with both me and my husband at LN and during that final week Nick called me regularly while we were at MD Anderson. I remember those calls so clearly even after all this time. I miss Nick being in this world. He was a great friend, human and leader.

Nick was my roommate at Ohio State for 3 quarters (we each took single dorm rooms afterwards). Nick was a great friend and had a spectacular mind. We hung out often, typically ate dinner together (with other friends) and sure had alot of fun! Nick made my time at Ohio State much more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been. He did indeed love his family. Sorry to hear of his death. RIP my dear friend!

Happy Birthday in heaven Nick! We were both GMI college students that co-oped at Frigidaire and we formed a quick friendship. He was always the life of the party! Just prior to his ALS diagnosis, we had lunch together. I was getting ready to wish him a happy birthday when I checked his FB. I am so saddened...he was a great guy! RIP Nick! Your life made a difference...God bless you!

Nick was always such a fun, funny, good hearted man. I will always remember that whenever I really needed help I could call on him like family. From Ohio State football games to vacations in Colorado, he always kept in touch with my parents and myself throughout the years. The last time I saw him was this April and he was making jokes and trying to find anything he could to entertain my kids. He always built people up and made people feel better. The world could use more Nicks.

My condolences to Nick's friends and family. I was one of his instructors at Wright State in the nursing program. I knew him as he completed our BSN and graduate program. He was an excellent student and a joy to work with. I was so sorry to hear about his illness and passing.

Jane, Linda, and Dee, How sad I am to hear the news of Nicks passing. He was truly a great guy. We had some great times at his place in Centerville. Memories I will cherish. I´m so sorry I can´t attend his service since I now live in Florida but I have you all in my prayers. ALS is a tuff Disease. I lost my aunt last year to the same horrible disease. Much love to all of you. Marsha

I loved working with Nick at LexisNexis in the `80´s. He was so kind and understanding. Always professional and very approachable. I will never forget him.

I had the honor of working with Nick while he was at Joslin Diabetes Center. He was indeed loved by his patients and coworkers. He always had a smile on his face and loved his humor. Prayers are with his family during this difficult time. Heaven has gained such a special angel.
