Not sure what to say?

I have very fond memories of Nick. What a selfless teacher and beautiful human being. Almost 30 years later, reminiscing on the things this man taught me and how compassionate he was. I didn't realize until now how much of an impact he had on my life. I would never come back to pursuing art without you. I'm sorry that I can't thank you for all you've done but I hope you know and you're looking down on me. I will always remember the difference between Manet and Monet. Love you man!

Nick is one of the person that my family loved and missed forever. His kindness was beyond any word

Nick always dominates my childhood memories as I think about vacations at Silver Lake. Nick and I spent a lot of time together floating and boating on the lake. Our parents were also friends. Paint us all some blue skies and clouds so we know where you are friend.

We will miss you forever.

Nick was able to tap into and nurture my son´s talents in such a profound way that when we list Sam´s top three influences, Nick is numbers one AND two! He had a wonderful ability to teach students of any age and any experience. And how can you not love a person who asks if you if you have been losing weight every time he sees you? Rest In Peace, my friend. The Whites will miss you.

A teacher and friend for many years. Encouraged me and helped me to find the art talent I had no idea existed. Always positive and encouraging. Among the many traits that make a person a great teacher. Thank you for all of it Nick. I'm sure you are making life a little prettier for those you now have in you classes. To a good man. Rest well.

I have been friends with Nick for over 40 years .We met at Harrisburg Arts Festival where I was a participating artist I would stay at Nick's house each year for the two art festivals Kipona Labor day and art fest Memorial day. I live in Nashville TN. and for the last year I have been calling Nick everynight to check on him and share memories I called him on Nov 19th and he told me he felt so bad he was going to call his Dr and see if he could admit the next morning. I could not reach...

Nick was an incredible man that had a gift to connect to children and inspire their creativity. To the family and friends, we offer our sympathy and prayers.

My sincerest condolences to family, friends and students of Nick. Personally, I had finally found someone who inspired me , taught me the art of `art´ and painting the way I would have never thought of painting. I will continue with the inspiration he instilled in me...and I will dearly miss him. RIP, Nick, and thank you!
