Fr. Nick taught me a few things, too, even just a few weeks before he passed.
1. Catcher in the Rye is just about as perfect a novel as one will find.
2. A novel is a series of imagined events that correspond to a recognized society.
3. Everyone has a plan until they get popped in the mouth. Make yourself a small target. Keep your hands up and fast, (and now I know where my dad got his lightening fast hands from.) And lastly,
