Years ago while working at the Austine School f/t Deaf in Brattleboro, the owner of Galanes' Sporting Goods made a generous donation so the deaf teenage girls could play softball. I always remembered that generosity. When I saw that Nick's family was from Brattleboro, I wondered if this tragedy had happened to that wonderful family.
