Not sure what to say?

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Blodgett Family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and we'll be dedicating several of these to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and the hometown of Nicholas H. Blodgett US Army Private 1st Class. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of...

My thoughts and prayers are with Nick's Family.

Always remembered.

Nick, you're never forgotten. You were a great Soldier and did your duty the way it was supposed to be done- quietly and diligently. I'm thinking of you this Holiday season and am regretful that your Family has an empty seat at the table. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your Family.

We Can. We will.

I often think of Nick. He helped me sew a button on my uniform in OSUT training at Ft. Knox. He was always concerned for others and never complained about anything. He loved being a Scout and loved his country. He was a gentleman who was wise beyond his years. Let us never forget our heroes who gave their lives for our freedom.

He was a friend and my battle buddy in basic training at Fort Knox. Our bunks next to each other. What a strange guy i thought at first. But grew to love him like a brother. He always had a smile and willing to help others at any cost. You will never be forgotten. "Scouts Out"

Dear Ones, So much was lost when Nick went to Jesus followed by his father Bob. I still remember my son and yours playing and learning at Holy Name. When I look at Kris' sons I see Nick and Kris in their play. I miss your child each time I look at mine. You are loved and he is missed not just by me but by a grateful nation. Hyest Regard, Sam
