Not sure what to say?

Don, Rody and family,
We loved Nick and have fond memories of our times with him especially on picnic outings. He always had interesting perspectives and could be very funny. He was so comfortable and at home in the forest and that was gratifying to see. We will forever treasure our time with him and he will always be in our hearts and prayers. You, too, will forever reside in our hearts and prayers as you cope with your loss. We know God will give you the strength to face each new...

Dear Rody and Don, Norm and I cannot comprehend what it would be like to lose a child as it is not suppose to be that way, but God works in mysterious ways. Our entire family offer you our deepest sympathy. Love, Lucy

To the Family of Nick,

I worked with Nick as a counselor and know what a good, sweet heart he had.
Sorry for your loss,

Patty, Santa Cruz

Dear Rody and Don, I was so saddened to read of Nicholas' premature death. I regret never having had the chance to meet him...however I imagine him as a beautiful and strong person who struggled with his illness, but also felt your love and support as you advocated tirelessly for him as well as others in our community who struggle to live with mental illness. Bless you both...

To all those family members who cherished Nicholas,
So very sorry for your loss. If only society could open both their minds and hearts to understand mental illness. This is a DISEASE. Individuals that experience this terrible disease suffer so. It is not their choice to have this. Society needs to understand the complexity of the issues, not judging. This can come on at anytime, there is a chance it could happen to one of you reading this, or one of your loved ones. I am certain...

Dear Don and Family,
We are so saddened by your loss of Nick. Such a difficult and nebulous disease that so often strikes people in their prime. We are sending prayers for you all in your grief.

Don & Rody: I have so many happy and lively memories of Nick both in Aptos and your visits up here in Portland, particularly our dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory recently. I wish I could attend the Memorial Mass on Saturday but trips are now a thing of the past. Max

Dear Don and family,

So sorry to learn of the loss of your son. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sincerely,
