I just noticed that General Hurst has passed! He was my commanding officer at Sierra Army Depot!!! Gen Hurst was a great Leader and he mentor all of his officers!!! He probably was the best leader that I have ever serves under!! I lost contact with him when he moved to the Huntsville, Al area !!! Genera Hurst love his country and his soldiers!!! This great Leader will be miss!!

General Hurst was always and compassionate and very dedicated person to this country. And to his family and friends period I was his executive assistant when he was the deputy chief of staff for procurement and headquarters. Army material command I enjoyed working with him and I just found out about his passing. A little while back.I'm very sorry about that and I know his family grieves him all the time.He was a great man
