I just learned of this deeply sad news today that of of my best friends dad had passed away recently, which I was shocked to have heard. I have met Nick on several occasions when I lived and worked in Mechanicville. And I must say that he was a super great guy with a big heart that made me feel welcomed whenever I would stop by the house to visit. This is truly a great loss and my heart does go out to his family which was his world. My condolences..

My deepest sympathies to the Iavarone family.I have the chariest memory of a long phone conversation with Nick last week as he was checking up on me in retirement. This was Nick never forgetting a friend. We talked about our sheared interests of home remodeling,camping,motorhoming,GE co workers but most of all FAMILEY.You all were his world. I am deeply sorry for your loss.You are in my thoughts and prayers.
