To the Isaak family,I just heard of Nick's passing, and was so saddened.I was a student of his at Boston University back in the 70's and without a doubt he was a tremendous teacher and influenced my work profoundly.I will always remember his quiet demeanor both as a teacher and person. And his work is wonderful. My condolences to all of you.Arthur Garrone (Methuen,Ma)

Dear Carolyn,Sorry to hear of your brothers passing . He sounds like he was much like you , diverse background and interest in the arts . I went to St. Gaudens several times when I lived in that" funny" part of the State. Artists like Nick brought culture into that part of NH. Beautiful place .As I recall very nice gardens ?? My thoughts and prayers are with you , Phil

Jackie, I'm sorry to hear of Nick's passing and hope Nicole and Josh are OK.

May peace and serenity be with Nick's family...Nick was a good man, a fine artist and more. Our painting conservator and friend for many years. The Hillier's and Morin's, Antique Associates, Massachusetts.

Dear Nicole and Family,

I am sorry for your early and sad loss. I only knew of your Dad's name through Keene State College where my mother was very involved with the Thorne Sagendorf Art Gallery. Also through the incredible work of restoration on several paintings belonging to my parents. Then I had the good fortune to visit his fine cottage up in Booth Bay last summer! I am glad he is now at peace after a painful period but it is never easy, no matter how and when they part. ...

As an artist myself, it was thrilling to follow the career of Nicky, a long ago neighbor and family friend. His talents were amazing!
