Not sure what to say?

I didn't know Nicholas but I knew his grandfather Ed. He and I worked together at the Salvador Dali Museum when it was in Beachwood. I'm deeply sorry for this loss, but am also profoundly encouraged for all of you by the Christian promise of eternal life through the glorification of Jesus Christ. The grieving will one day end -- rendered meaningless -- by the gift of eternal salvation. Please do not forget that.

I believe my earlier expression of condolences referred to my having worked with Nicholas's father, when in fact the Ed Kuchar I knew would be Nicholas's grandfather. I apologize for the error.

Our sympathies to Nick’s family, as well as friends, teachers and classmates. This is a powerful shock to so many. Always remember Nick in times that recall his very best qualities.

Our hearts are breaking for your family. My husband and I did not know Nicholas but our son Alex attended Mount Union with him and they were in the same fraternity. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Prayers to you and your family in this difficult time.
With love, Brad and Lisa Hairfield

Offering our deepest condolences during this time.
