Dear Sue and family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My parents lost their son and my brother in 2000 and I saw what they went through, again I am so sorry for your loss.

My dear dear Susan and Mike. I am devastated for you and your family with the tremendous loss of your Nick. As the wife of a former Marine Corps Captain and pilot (1970-75), I send you an outpouring of love and courage as you go through this grief. With love, ML

Nick was a student in my Honors Freshman English class. He was a delight to teach. I fondly remember that impish smile and enthusiasm. Although it was terrible to think of a life cut short, it wasn´t surprising to learn how accomplished he´d become after high school. None of those impressive achievements come as a surprise. He was a great kid.

On behalf of the Seacoast Detachment #394, Marine Corps League, please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of Capt Nick "Sloppy" Losapio. Although his presence will be sorely missed among the rolls of all Active, Retired and Veteran Marines, please know that his service to our great nation has not gone unnoticed as he joins the ranks of the Marine Corps' greatest that have gone before.
