I am deeply saddened to hear about this very friendly , respectful and caring young man. He was both of my sons partner in the petcussion section oh the Howell Schools. It sure hits my family hard as we lost a previous percussionist our little drummer boy on his way to school broadsided in his car Hans Hinkle. You may be gone Nick but you will never go forgotten and now we have to angel s that are now drumming their hearts out! RIP Nick !My thoughts and prayers o all your moved loves !

So sorry to hear about your son, Nicholas' passing in April. You, Peg and the rest of your family have Lynne and my deepest sympathies. His dry, witty sense of humor stuck with me - not unlike his dad's - and his exuberant spirit celebration of life was a model for all to follow. He will be missed.

Dear Eric & Margaret,
It was with great sorrow that we read about Nicholas. We know that no words can ease your pain and grief at this time. We lost our 9 year old son, Phillip, 38 years ago and we still remember the anguish we experienced.
We heard many people say many things. Some were comforting and understanding while others were insensitive, although we are sure, unintentional. People who have not experienced what you are encountering have no idea of what to say or what to...

Our thoughts are with the Lutz family at this sad time. May God heal your broken hearts. (Psalm 147:3)

You were one of the good ones Nick!

Very shocked to hear this ! My condolences and prayers....so sorry he was a excellent musician and friend to both of my sons in the Howell Band Percussion Section and so very well liked. I went to school and graduated with his Aunt Lindsay .
