Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I first met Nick at the St. Demitrios Greek Orthodox Church when I first moved to Saginaw in 1980. I participated in the AHEPA with him and for many, many years worked under him bartending at the annual festival. Nick was a great man in so many ways. He was kind, thoughtful, loyal and true. I know that all of us fortunate enough to have known Nick, will dearly miss him.

To his lovely wife, daughters and family, please accept my deepest sympathy. May his memory be eternal!

Our condolences to the Makrianis family at Nick's passing. Our paths didn't cross often after high school, but when they did, I always felt good after we parted.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Makrianis family at this
most difficult time...may God surround and hold all of you in His loving arms now and in the coming days.

Our sympathy to Grace, Julie and Peggy. Nick, Grace and family were part of our lives for over 50 years. I had the good fortune to work for Nick....a gentleman, fair, honest...good nature with a smile. Grace & Nick were part of our Holbrook gang. Many good times included skiing, parties, Hawaii. Blessings from the Stewart family. Jan Stewart

I was honored to consider my self a friend of Nick. Working out at the YMCA, salmon fishing in Lake Huron, volunteering in beer tent at Greek festival. Nick and Grace were pillars in our community. A true gentleman who would always bring a smile to your face. Corrine and I are holding you in our prayers

One of the truly nicest guys I have ever known .Grateful to share so many memories at real estate conventions over the years. My thoughts to Grace and girls. Missed but not forgotten !

Condolences to Grace and the Makrianis children. I worked with Grace at DMHS and taught most (if not all) of the children.

The full joy of living, doing for others, was Nick, in the close Saginaw community. He had three beautiful loving women in his life. Grace, Julie Margo, and Peggy Lynn. No question their life aspired Nick to do more , AND more for the Greek community at their festival. The Greek Orthodox Church became the focus for many positive actions yearly and help for the needy. Nick managed to do it all, easily and quietly. He will be remembered and missed. No question, life also had time for...
