I had the honor of working with Nick. He had the extraordinary ability to read an article, understand it and explain it to others within minutes of reading it. Each month, when the educational journals arrived, Nick would read and read and read. A few days later he was throwing out idea after idea for things we could do to improve the Glassboro Public Schools. I love the photo of Nick. It captures the joy and zest for life that was always present with this great person. I absolutely loved working with Nick. He taught me so much about education and, more importantly, how to treat people. I never knew a person who could understand an idea so quickly then communicate it to others with enthusiasm and passion. I think of him frequently and quote him often. My deepest sympathy to his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I too share a heavy heart with the passing of Nick Mitcho. I have a long history of time with Nick that was always filled with laughter and good times.
