I first met Nick Sr. (it's how I was introduced to him) while visiting Nick and Veena over a Thanksgiving dinner at their place in the nineties. I went year after year for Christmas and/or Thanksgiving year-after-year. During those visits I got to know Nick Sr. quite well. Not only did I find him to be bright and entertaining, but he had lots of good stories to tell. I would always ask him about his travels and his residency in Monterey, California. He never stopped living life to the fullest...
