I just learned that Nicholas Navarino passed away. I am happy to learn that he lived a long life. My family was lucky to have been touched by him. He was principal of Glenwood Elementary School when our son, Benjamin, entered school. Dr. Navarino was very kind and helpful to Ben and our family. We decided to homeschool in 5th and 6th grade. Dr. Navarino loaned us all the books we needed during those years. I´m not sure how we would have prepared Ben for junior high school otherwise. ...
