Not sure what to say?

Sure was a pleasure getting to know nick the last few years and working on his project in remsen ny. Very kind hearted guy and will be missed. Truly sorry for his loss

Joe Nehrbauer 6/14/2024 Unlike my brother, I suck at discussions during emotional times..... so I´m gonna get my thoughts out here. Nick had 12ish years on me.... that´s not so much now but growing up - that was a grade school and high school career apart (quite a difference). Of all the siblings I think we are the most alike, always working on cars even if sometimes we got in over our heads... willing to try new stuff, and I´d like to think the same sort of sense of humor. (Nick was always...

To Mary Lou and family. I´m so sorry to hear of Nick´s passing. You have my deepest sympathies and I hope his memory brings comfort to those dear to him . Although it´s been many years, I have great memories of working with Nick in AMCH ED.We both were young ,starting our careers . It was an exciting time and Nick was an EMS visionary . I remember how he set up the first helicopter transports with the NY State Police asking we nurses to volunteer.Nick was wonderful to work with and we...

I was sorry to hear about Nick´s passing. He and I, along with Marc Cohen, Toby Palma, Cassian Li, Wing Chu and others, were close friends in medical school, all living in the Kings County Staff House. May his memory be a blessing. As an infectious diseases academician, Nick has been part of my teaching to decades of medical students, residents and fellows related to him acquiring rat bite fever in physiology lab after having a fractured fibula while we were playing basketball with the...

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Nehrbauer at St Luke´s ER. Great Dr. & advocate for local EMS.

My husband and I met Nick through Fred Lacelle this past year. Although are friendship was short lived my husband and him shared a lot of hunting stories. They often went the gun shop together and out to lunch. Myself being a nurse we shared a lot of common ground. He was quite a inspiration to my husband and I. Very sorry for your lost. He will greatly be missed. Tina and Dan Wollaber.

Mary Lou and family- I am so sorry for your loss. Working for Nick at AMC has always been a great memory. And I always think fondly of those years. We did a lot of work but had a lot of fun and laughs doing it. My thoughts to you and your family.

Marylou and family, so sad to hear about the loss of Nick. Will never forget the day he and I made the first Med flight voyage to Champlain Valley Hospital and on the way back to the Med we had to land the ship in a backyard to resuscitate the patient only to be later chased by the owners dogs. Every time we would be at a dinner for EMS he would always bring up that story. He was a great guy and will be missed by all who knew him. My sincere condolences , Ed Potyrala

I was so sorry to hear about Nick´s passing. I have so many fond memories of times we all spent together. My thoughts are with you and your children and grandchildren and hope that you´ll all be together sharing the memories you have of him.
