Not sure what to say?

I attended OUST and Airborne school at Fort Benning, GA with Olivas. While we were never very close I will never forget him. Olivas called me out during combatives training for a one on one bout. While I dont remember why, Ill never forget how on the very starting whistle he slapped the absolute crap out of me! Lol! Dont remember much else about the bout but I sure remember that. Was very saddened to hear of his passes during the deployment shortly after. Every Memorial Day I remember him as...

Nicholas Olivas was a great man. I say this with certainty, as I was the signed witness at his wedding with Faith Olivas and also present for the birth of their son. This man deserves to be forever recognized and remembered as a hero. His family, friends, and I miss him dearly. We will always be thankful for the sacrifice he made for us.
