Mr. NICHOLAS T. OWES SR.

He was the best mentor to many students including me, thought about the positive way he spoke to me with much encouragement and always inspiring me to do my best in everything I would do. God Blessed anyone who knew him and now he joins him in peaceful bliss in heaven.

My heart is very heavy as I am just learning of the passing of Mr. Owes. I was principal of George Washington Carver, where Mr. Owes served as the P.E. teacher. I cannot find words to express how much I loved working with him. He was always dependable, and provided necessary support in any area of the school. Although, we had not connected in several years, the warmth and love never diminished. I send my condolences to his wife and entire family. With a sad heart......
