Not sure what to say?

I was lucky to have met Nick Sr. at Buffone Rink about 15 years ago. It was not long after I met him that I considered him a friend.
He welcomed all entering his rink with a friendly greeting and that familiar, contagious, smile; he treated all (whether it be the old, the young, first-time skaters, seasoned hockey players, figure skaters) the same...with dignity and respect.
He was the consummate hockey fan (and yes die-hard fan of the dreaded Canadiens) and had incredible...

I'm just at a loss to find this out. Growing up in that Shrewsbury Street area and having the best memories ever with Myself, Nicky and John Fraioli as the three Amigo's all over Lake Quinsig, Shrewsbury St, the Beach and various other places. It is a true shock and I offer my most sincere condolences to his wife and family, a wonderful person. After moving away, we would run into each other here and there, or he would see my father at the rink in Marlboro or a surprise phone call to/from my...

Dear Meg, I am in utter shock. I just walked by the rink on Lake Avenue and saw a wreath "In Memory of Nick" and now I just read his obituary. I extend my condolences, thoughts and prayers to you and your family and pray that God will continue to embrace you all through the love and strenghth of your friends and family. RIP Nick

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I will always cherish the memories I have from playing hockey at Nicholas’ rink. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this hard time.

Meg, Kristen, Justine , & Nick. So sorry for the passing of your Husband & Dad. Nick was always so outgoing & friendly to anyone who came in to his Lake Ave Rink . I have great memories of Nick when I Coached @ Worcester Voke & the Worcester Public Schools Teams . I would always look forward to our pre - season ice meetings in early fall . He was a great advocate & supporter of both programs . He made Lake Ave ( Buffone Rink ) from a average Rink to great...

Meg and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. From what I have read, Nick did not change much in the 50 years since I met him at Sacred Heart. He made Catholic School fun- now that's a special guy!!! I only wish that I had spent more time with him as an adult because I feel like I missed out. I am hoping that all of the love your family shared with him will carry you through your sadness and you will be able to think of him and smile, soon. You are all in my heart and thoughts.

Dear Meg,

My deepest condolences to you and your children. May Nick’s love and devotion to you all and all your beautiful memories bring some amount of comfort at this very tragic time.

Dear Donna, Fran and the entire Pennucci family,
We were saddened to learn of Nick's passing. Please know that your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. May beautiful memories sustain you and bring you peace. God bless.

I was so saddened to hear of Nick’s sudden passing My condolences to Meg. We went to grade school and High School together and because of the closeness in our last names we were often next to each other in classes. I always remembered Nick as a good guy. RIP my old friend.
