Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Nick´s passing recently. I´ve known Nick since our HS freshman year and was fortunate to visit him when moving to LA 2 1/2 years ago. He was a true mensch, and I´m lucky to have had him as a friend. His humor and his kindness will be missed .

Both our daughters were in gymnastics and my love of many books with my grandmother Alice Bullock (famous author). Rest in peace Nick). You will be dearly missed...Mikeline Rodgers

A neat man. Went searching for Mc Carthy with me.

My husband and I were the babysitter of the 6 boys in Evanston Illinois when parents went to NYC

I worked with Nicky in Denver in the wine business. We kept up our friendship after he moved to Santa Fe where my wife and I visited often, during wine tastings there or when passing thru on our way to AZ. We always had good stories and good times. He would tell us what Aryana was doing and what was going on in her life. You were his shining light. Nick, we miss you already.

As the librarian at the Santa Fe Indian School for over 30 years, I was so blessed to meet Nick and spend time going through his wonderful collection that I was able to add to the school´s library. It was just such a wonderful atmosphere to come into his store and visit with Nick And I feel very grateful that I got to spend some time with him in the Olive Rush Memorial studio garden on one lovely summer afternoon, where we shared memories and stories together.

Nick was a great soul & a great friend... Such warmth, wisdom & humility. This is a great loss for Santa Fe & for all those who loved him. May his memory be a blessing, always.

My sincere condolences to the family. Nick was truly one of a kind. He will always be remembered in the best way. He helped us to build a beautiful collection of books that will be valued by our community for generations to come. He was also a dear friend of our family which we enjoyed having during our annual Feast Day in October, his favorite red chile made by my mom, Indian pies, buutsi, and a loaf of pueblo bread to go. He always made time to come visit but, had to get back to the...

Nick was intelligent and kind. A true Santa Fe treasure!
