My deepest condolences and prayers are with you in this most sad time.

May Father Nick rest in peace. We'll never forget his Christmas Carolling and his funny anekdota. And that omnipresent smile on his face just brightened everyone's day. What a true gentleman and loving priest he was. Heaven is lucky to be getting him. At least he'll make them all laugh and smile up there. Rest in peace my friend. You WILL be missed.

With our deepest sympathies for a wonderful man and of course true spiritual leader. His blessing of our engagement follows us every day of our married life and his friendship with our family throughout the years will always be remembered. Zoe se esas!

Our family was very saddened to hear about Father Nick's passing. Unfortunately we did not hear about it until this afternoon. We are very sorry we were not able to come and pay our respects and express our condolences. We have many fond memories of Father Nick. He was a part of many important and happy events in our lives. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I met Father Nick when he was the priest for Saint Demetrios,Merrick. What a wonderful and loving man. Then I was fortunate to call him and his family my family, Frank (his son) became my brother in law. I couldn't have asked for a better brother in law and friend. The entire Retselas family is the epitome of a close family. My thoughts and prayers go out to them always. Father Nick will always be remembered as a gentle and good man.

Our family is very saddened to hear of Father Nick's passing. He was extremely intelligent, a dedicated family man, and a good neighbor! We will remember him as part of our childhoods. We will also remember fondly seeing him garden, and how good he was with his grandchildren.

We offer our deepest sympathy to Father Nick's family on his passing. He was a great priest and leader of the Island Park community for many years. I have wonderful memories of going door to door with Father Nick and other parishioners, singing Christmas Carols to raise funds for the church. He was very helpful working alongside my husband Paraskevas and the buiding committee in the fund raising and construction of the new Panaghia Church of Island Park.
