Nicholas J. Scalzo

I met Nick quite a few times. The first was at my brother David's wedding. I didn't get to talk to him much, but I did get to know a lot more about him when he and Katie got married. I learned that he worked in Seaford not too far from where we used to live. More so, I learned that he was an awesome guy. Nick was one of, if not the strongest man I have ever met in my life. I feel I am blessed to have met him. R.I.P. Nick.

My son and I are so sorry to hear about Nick. He was second cousin to my son Nicholas J. Scalzo - NYPD. He saw the notice at work and was not sure he was related.It was confirmed Friday night late that he is his second cousin.He has not seen him in about 15 years. Our hearts go out to all the family. We are really sorry to hear of this terrible news.

When we moved to New York in 1982, one of the best things to happen to us, was moving next door to the Scalzo's. While we started out as neighbors, we quickly became family. Nick was a class act in every way. Our hearts go out to the entire Scalzo family. We hope that you will find comfort in knowing how much he touched our lives.

I only met him once but that all you needed to know he was a class act warm caring person.
