I am just now learning of Nick's passing and want to express my sorrow. I have been going to Nick for at least 25 years for contact lens. He is the only optician I have ever seen. The nicest, caring person, who can't be replaced. He was always so proud of his children and grand kids. I will miss him. My sympathy to his family.

Although I was not a very close friend of Nick's in high school, we did know each other. I wanted you to know how well thought of he was in Lodi and how genuinely he will be missed by many people. My sympathy to his lovely family.

To Buddy, Jean and the entire Schultz Family:
I just learned of Nicky's passing and wanted to send my condolences. I'm still in shock over the news and numb with sadness that he is gone. He was always such a sweetheart and I cherished the friendship we shared for over 40 years. I hadn't seen him since our class reunion in 2001 but we occasionally talked on the phone reminiscing about the "good 'ol days", and he was always that sweet, soft-spoken, kind-hearted soul who made me...

I was thinking of NIcky yesterday as I walked by his old Lodi home. Today we are learning of the loss of our dear friend "Scrubber". He was a warm and loving friend always ready with a big hug. We miss you buddy. Lodi will never be the same.

I first meet Nick at Lions. What a wonderful person! When I could no longer wear contact he sent me to Dr. Korth. I will always remember his great smile. I always saw him at Xmas to support the Pasadena Y's Men .

I just knew something was worng when I could not get in contact with him for new contact lens. So I took a ride out to the office and got the sade news of his passing.
Nick was a very special person, very funny. very loving of his family and grandchildren and his patience he will surley be missed by all. I meet Nick when he took over the contact lens busness from his cousin who took over for his father who was my Dr. back in 1959.

I learned of Dr. Nick's passing on Monday, November 10, when my voicemail message was returned by an associate. I'd been trying to contact him for four weeks to secure some contact lens cleaning/wetting solution. I thought something might've happened because I received no callback.
He was my contact lens specialist for over 20 years. We shared such pleasant encounters and conversations. He'd ask me about my golfing and classroom experiences as a schoolteacher. I'd ask him about his...

Nick was one of the kindest, happiest men I have ever had the
opportunity to meet; it's hard to believe he is no longer here. He was
always showing the latest pictures
of his grandchildren relating stories of the fun times he had shopping with them. He was the type of person you love to do business with; the old-fashioned style with trust, excellent service, and caring.
