Not sure what to say?

I met Nick after graduating, and immediately wished I'd had him for some of my English Lit classes. Later, our kids were on the same city parks and rec soccer teams and we reconnected, and it was as if no time had passed. He was so smart, and funny, and acerbic but never mean. I know that his friends and family will miss him and cherish his memory. RIP, friend.

One of the best teachers I ever had. He made the works of Shakespeare come truly alive. Bless him.

I happened upon this obituary. He was a steady soul in the sea of discomfort of my undergraduate years-seeing him around campus in all black- a well illustrated character around campus- always made me smile. He gave me a boost of confidence in his literature course and often called on me for thoughts (did not happen often at VCU for me- I truly was lost) and even wrote me a lovely letter of recommendation.May his soul be forever joyous- prayers for you all.

He was my favorite professor.
